I studied Dutch Law at Maastricht University and was sworn in as an attorney in 2000. In 2009, I completed the specialization course in Employment Law at the Grotius Academy. Additionally, I am trained as a mediator and registered with the MfN.
After 25 years of experience in the legal profession (including as an entrepreneur and interim attorney) and as a mediator, I joined Bosselaar Strengers. Here, I am part of a diverse team that collaborates effectively in a professional, no-nonsense atmosphere. I am particularly drawn to the combination of different legal fields and the opportunity to further develop the employment law practice at the firm.
I assist clients with all aspects of labor law, including issues related to sickness and disability, individual and collective dismissal law, and flexible employment relationships. In addition to supporting individual clients, I advise organizations and partnerships on matters such as reorganizations.
My approach is solution-oriented, focusing on goals while being attentive to people. The role I fulfill largely determines how I act.
As an attorney, I advocate for my clients’ interests and the desired outcomes. I quickly get to the core of the matter and adopt a proactive, pragmatic, and decisive stance. Clients see me as a reliable, strategically strong partner who is also approachable. I build long-term relationships with many clients, which enables quick communication and fosters mutual trust.
I am naturally curious and always open to new opportunities and challenges. When mediation came my way, I embraced it. As a mediator, I take on an impartial role and strive to facilitate a process that revives communication between parties. The goal is to reach constructive agreements together or to amicably conclude the collaboration.
By mastering both roles and combining the associated skills when necessary, I can serve clients in a comprehensive manner.
